29th Edition of Friuli DOC in Udine from September 7th to 10th, 2023

Friuli DOC offers the opportunity to delve into the essence of a territory beyond the beaten path, preserved in its authenticity and true nature, evoking a range of intense emotions.

This place is characterized by a heritage passed down through generations in the art of creating delicacies, and sharing these delights brings genuine pleasure. At the heart of Friuli, its capital becomes the natural backdrop for this remarkable event, and Udine’s traditional taverns form the core of the Friuli DOC spirit.

In the characteristic venues scattered throughout the city’s corners, the ritual of “tajùt” is celebrated daily with warmth and humanity. The term “tajùt” indicates to the host the desire for a glass of white (taj di blanc) or red (taj di rosé) wine (source: https://www.friulani.net/il-tajut/).

In addition to the renowned Friulian wines and exquisite products like San Daniele, Montasio, and Gubana, Friuli DOC also serves as a reason to visit Udine – a city rooted in Tiepolo’s legacy. It offers captivating glimpses of Venetian-style scenery, lavish historical palaces, a distinctive architectural tradition, and an elegant Castle.
