CORIANO WINE FESTIVAL 2023: THE SANGIOVESE FAIR

In the picturesque village of Coriano, get ready to raise your glasses high and immerse yourself in the splendid hues and fragrances of the “nectar of Bacchus” during the weekend of August 19th and 20th. The Coriano Wine Festival turns these days into an experience of celebration and pleasure, presenting a renewed wine tasting featuring wines from over 30 renowned wineries of Romagna. With more than 120 wine varieties on display, a generous tasting counter guided by expert winemakers, four tasting workshops, and a symposium dedicated to delving into the history of the famous red wine in its agronomic and oenological aspects, the event promises to satisfy even the most discerning palates.

The typical Romagna street food and culinary delights prepared with ingredients from local companies will abound along the central streets, thanks to the stands of Pro Loco Coriano and Ristorantino di Coriano, offering authentic gastronomic treats.

The stage for tastings and musical performances will be preceded by a captivating symposium titled “Sangiovese: A Investigation into a Grape Variety Beyond Any Doubt”, scheduled for Saturday, August 19th at the Isotta Hall. Expert sommeliers like Maurizio Alongi, Enrico Bevitori, Marco Casadei, Paolo Babini, and Marino Colleoni will discuss the most famous labels of local wineries.
